Audubon Charter School’s Talented Arts Theatre Program Presents
“Dreams Freedom Change-African American Voices Through History” 
in Honor of Black History Month
In honor of Black History Month, Audubon Charter School presents “Dreams Freedom Change-African American Voices Through History, ” a play performed by Audubon’s Talented Arts Theatre Program. The performance will take place on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 6pm at the Ashe Power House, 1731 Baronne New Orleans, LA 70113.
During the performance, the Lower School Talented Arts Theatre (TAT) students will perform excerpts from “Hidden Figures” and honor African Americans such as Misty Copeland, the first African American principal ballet dancer and Jack Roosevelt Robinson, who broke the Baseball League color barrier. Students from the Upper School TAT will focus on famous African American poets.  “We are so proud of our talented and very gifted Theatre students,” said Audubon  CEO Latoye Brown, “This is an amazing and inspiring play performed by our students.”
