Audubon Charter School to Host Rector of Guadeloupe and French Delegation March 31

Rector of French island of Guadeloupe to visit school to observe French instruction.

WHAT:    The Rector of Guadeloupe, along with his delegation will visit Audubon Charter School’s Broadway campus as part of its partnership with Monsieur Raymond Hinz , Attaché for Cooperation Consulat Général de France, School Inspector / Superintendent of Schools  and the French Consulate.

WHEN:    Friday, March 31, 9am

WHY:       The Rector of Guadeloupe and his delegation will visit Audubon Charter on March 31. Guadeloupe is a butterfly-shaped 630-square-mile French Caribbean island that is a department of France. The visit is part of Audubon’s partnership with Monsieur Raymond Hinz , Attaché for Cooperation Consulat Général de France, School Inspector / Superintendent of Schools  and the French Consulate.

During the delegation’s visit to the U.S, they are also scheduled to meet with the Governor, State Superintendent John White, Universities and more.

The delegation includes:

  • Mr. Max Nelson, Director Delegate for the Vocational Training and Placement
  • Ms Catherine Pietrus, Educational Inspector in charge of the learning of the Creole Language, Heritage and Culture
  • Ms. Jocelyn Viellot, Educational Inspector in charge of the World Language
  • Ms. Monique Vidal, Director delegate for the International Cooperation
  • Mr. Frédéric Bablon, Academic Director, Rector Assistant
  • Nicole Dupuy, Director of the Rectoral Office
  • Dr. Marylène Troupe, Dean of the College of Education of Guadeloupe
