Lusher teachers, parents and student perform “Octopus’ Garden” for morning meeting

During the school year, Lusher Charter Lower School’s infamous morning meetings are a daily ritual of music, song and dance for the whole Willow Street Campus to start off the day in an amazing way.  Lusher frequently has notable guest musicians perform at the morning meetings, a tradition the K-5 students cherish and look forward to.
Despite the current COVID-19 stay-at-home order, Lusher teachers and parents are determined to continue this tradition via online performances that students can enjoy from home.  Lusher music teachers and musicians James Hausman and JP Carmody, along with parents and musicians Michael Harvey and Rich Collins (of the Imagination Movers) got together virtually to perform an amazing rendition of  “Octopus’ Garden” for students.
Lower School Principal Jan Rice included the performance in the morning meeting, having given kids a previous clue of “What does an octopus have to do with a garden?”
