Morris Jeff Community School Volunteer of the Year Finalist
The Associated Professional Educators of Louisiana honored Mr. Charles Fridge of Morris Jeff Community School as one of their 2019 Volunteer of the Year Finalists.  Mr. Fridge, a Morris Jeff grandparent to two, volunteers as a full-time librarian aide and assists to serve over 900 students in the Lopez library. You may also find him flipping burgers or serving fish as a WatchDOG to further support the school. On top of all he does for Morris Jeff, he also volunteers at Belle Vie Nursing Home.
