New Orleans Charter Science and Math “Sci High” students participated in a day of service benefitting Habitat for Humanity. The project was officially called “Banga Build” — and was organized by the band Tank and the Bangas. New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity builds homes for and with hard-working families and individuals. The students are members of the Write Brained Club at Sci High who participate in a day of service every year. The Club takes students on at least one field trip a month to provide a unique cultural experience outside the walls of the classroom.
