WHAT:
Lusher Charter School parent and engineer Michael Walker, will present a LEGO sculpture he has spent the last year creating to Lusher’s Willow Campus.   The Lusher “L” stands four feet tall and is composed of 12,000 new LEGO bricks.  Walker sourced the thousands of legos from several countries. The sculpture’s art challenges the engineering in the three-dimensional collegiate font “L” with yellow beveled edges encasing a clean blue brick pattern.

The statue was created in honor of Lusher Charter School CEO, Kathy Riedlinger, for receiving The United States Department of Education’s highest honor: The Bell Lifetime Achievement Award.

The presentation will take place during Lusher’s daily morning meeting, with students celebrating Lusher’s spirit with song and dance.

WHEN:
Thursday, October 3, 8am

WHERE:
