SY 24-25 Assistant Teacher - Spanish (Westbank Campus)
In preparation for the 2024-2025 School Year, ISL is actively looking for a dynamic Assistant Teacher to join the Westbank Campus Spanish Immersion team. The Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher with general supervision and management of the class. They may also support student learning in ways including but not limited to: prepping instructional materials; working with individual students and/or small groups; taking charge of instruction in the absence of the Lead Teacher; contributing to observational assessment of students; staying in the Target Language at all times. In preparation for the 2024-2025 School Year, ISL is actively looking for a dynamic Science teacher to join the Middle School team at the Uptown Campus. ISL's Immersive Experiential Curriculum uses State of Louisiana Department of Education Standards as a framework around which to build experiences for students to demonstrate mastery of skills. The Middle School science curriculum is inquiry-based, and includes guiding students through the scientific method as they identify and develop a science fair project/investigation each year, grades 6 though 8.
