Support Benjamin Franklin Elementary Mathematics & Science School While Makin’ Groceries!

Uptown Winn-Dixie partners with Ben Franklin Elementary as part of School Donation Program

Benjamin Franklin Elementary Mathematics & Science School has been chosen by the Winn-Dixie at 5400 Tchoupitoulas St. in Uptown, New Orleans to be a part of its School Donation Program in August.

From Wednesday, August 16 – Tuesday, August 29, Winn-Dixie shoppers can donate to the school while makin’ groceries! While grocery shopping, customers are encouraged to round up to benefit Ben Franklin Elementary in two ways: by rounding up their purchase or donating at check out; and/or customers are invited to purchase a reusable Community Bag with a Giving Tag. Each bag comes with a $1 community donation tag, and Benjamin Franklin Elementary will be the designated recipient of the Community Bag funds for the month of August. Once the program ends, Ben Franklin will use the funds raised to support its students, teachers, faculty and staff for the new school year.
