Senior JB Watson chosen as finalist in QuestBridge Scholarship Program; classmate Tayla Hunter chosen for All-Academic Volleyball Team
Senior Advances in QuestBridge Scholarship Competition
Senior Ja’Briel “JB” Weston has been selected as a Finalist for QuestBridge National College Match. If chosen, JB will match with his university choice on December 1.
QuestBridge recognizes students with outstanding academic records. Colleges that partner with QuestBridge include Duke University, Vanderbilt University. Colorado College, Tulane University, and many more. QuestBridge is a national scholarship program for high achieving students from underrepresented communities.
Senior Chosen for All-Academic Volleyball Team
Senior Tayla Hunter has been selected as an Honoree for the LHSAA All-Academic Composite Girls’ Volleyball Team.
The All-Academic 4.00 Scholar Team is composed of 90 senior student-athletes who have attained the highest grade point averages from all classes/divisions in their specific sport. These student-athletes will be recognized and honored during their sports’ state championships. Tayla will be honored at the 2020-2021 All-Academic Ceremony in Baton Rouge on December 8, 2020.
