Discovery Schools accepting applications for 2022-23 school year!

DISCOVERY SCHOOLS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR Open Houses to be held in January for Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy and Dr. John Ochsner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Discovery Schools is now accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year.  Discovery Schools are open enrollment, high-performing, public charter schools operating two schools across three campuses serving over 2,700 students in grades K-12. The deadline to apply for the 2022-23 school year is Friday, February 4, 2022, at noon.  Parents can submit an application online at www.discoveryapplication.comApplications are currently being accepted from Jefferson Parish residents for Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy for students entering grades K-12, and for Dr. John Ochsner Discovery Health Sciences Academy for students entering grades K-7 (expanding to 8th grade by 2023). A limited number of tuition-based Pre-K4 seats are available for those who qualify. An Open House for KDHSA Middle & High School (5-12^th) will be held on January 10 from 6-8 pm at its campus at 3837 Loyola Dr. in Kenner.  The KDHSA Lower School (Pre-K-4th) Open House will be held on January 20, 6-8pm at its campus at 2504 Maine Ave. in Metairie.Dr. John Ochsner Discovery Health Sciences Academy, in partnership with Ochsner, will hold an Open House on January 12, 6-8pm for grades Pre-K4 – 7^th at its campus at 1108 Shrewsbury Rd. in Jefferson.Discovery Schools recently opened two new state-of-the-art campuses that are complementary to the innovative curriculum.  Discovery Schools are Type 1 charter school authorized by Jefferson Parish Public Schools.
