Einstein Charter School Senior Earns Scholarships Totaling Over $2 million

Einstein Charter School at Sarah T. Reed Valedictorian Earns Scholarships totaling over $2 million Accepted into 15+ schools
         

Jon’Nae Sylvester, the Einstein Charter High School at Sarah T. Reed 2019-20 Valedictorian, has been awarded over $2 million in scholarships.  Jon’Nae will attend Roanoke College in the Fall, where she plans to major in African-American Studies and Political Science with a possible minor in Sociology.Jon’Nae was admitted to over 15 schools, including Case Western, Spelman, Scripps, Cornell, Dillard, Talladega, Loyola, LSU, Xavier University, Warren Wilson, Millsaps, Arkansas Baptist College, Rhodes College, Franklin and Marshall College.

During her time at Einstein, Jon’Nae maintained a 4.1 grade point average while also taking dual enrollment classes at the University of New Orleans.“Jon’Nae is a prime example of how far Einstein STRONG graduates can go,” said Einstein Charter Schools CEO Michael McKenzie. “She is an inspiring young lady with a bright future and we look forward to seeing where her future successes will take her.”She was a Quest Bridge Scholarship Finalist and a Semifinalist for the Bill Gates Scholarship. She was accepted into the LSU and Loyola Honors Colleges, and was a Patrick Taylor Scholar and in the National Honor Society.
