Einstein Schools – Sarah T. Reed High School Class of 2024

The 2024 Graduation ceremony for Sarah T. Reed High School was held on Friday, May 17th at 11:00 a.m. Mrs. Tara Johnson, Einstein Charter Schools CEO; Dr. Raymond Delaney, Einstein Charter Schools Board President; and Dr. Avis Williams, Orleans Parish Superintendent of Schools were amongst many who witnessed the students receiving their diplomas. Guest speaker, Dr. Mims-Devezin, Former Chancellor of Southern University of New Orleans provided a powerful message to the graduates and families that will lead them into brighter futures. 

Abraham Tello Gonzalez , Sarah T. Reed High School, Class of 2024 Valedictorian

Abraham Tello Gonzalez is Sarah T. Reed High School’s 2024 Valedictorian. His parents’ names are Deciderio Tello and Eufemia Gonzalez. His hometown until the age of five was Jalpan de Serra. Jalpan is a small little town near the center of Mexico. Abraham Tello Gonzalez is planning on attending either Louisiana State University or Loyola State University. Abraham has been awarded almost $200,000 in scholarships. He intends to major in Business, and has hopes of becoming an entrepreneur. Since Abraham was young, he has always had an interest in business. He likes the process of seeing how an idea has the opportunity to become a multi- million dollar business. While at Sarah T. Reed High School, Abraham participated in Dual Enrollment with Delgado Community College and has received up to 12 college credits. When he is not learning about different enterprises, his hobbies include working and playing video games.

Johnny Tran, Sarah T. Reed High School, Class of 2024 Salutatorian

Johnny Tran is Sarah T. Reed High School’s 2024 Salutatorian. Johnny was born in Connecticut, MA and is the son of Linda Nguyen and Thai Tran. He has been a part of the Einstein Charter School network since the first grade. He has plans of attending Delgado Community College majoring in Computer Network Technology at Delgado Community College. Johnny’s interest in Delgado Community College began while he was a Dual Enrollment student at the institution. At Delgado, Johnny has been awarded up to 12 college credit hours. He

would like to thank his parents, friends, and school staff for helping him become the best version of himself.

Johnny will implement the lessons taught at Sarah T. Reed High School to continue his “Olympian Honor”.
