International High School of New Orleans Hosts Free Community Fair on April 5

The International High School of New Orleans will be hosting its 2nd Annual Community Fair on Saturday, April 5, from 12-4 p.m. at 2733 Esplanade Avenue in Gentilly. Admission is free.

During the fair, attendees can enjoy student performances and a student art and ceramics show, while feasting on boiled crawfish by Bobby’s Seafood, burgers, healthy juices by Reju Juice and shaved ice from Kona Ice.

The IHSNO Jazz Band, supported through a grant from the New Orleans Tourism and Cultural Fund, will perform at 1 p.m.

Community organizations, including the National Alliance on Mental Illness Southeast Louisiana, the New Orleans Recreation Department, RIDE New Orleans, United Way of Southeast Louisiana and La Voz de la Comunidad will also be on-site at the Community Fair providing resources and information.
