Melanie Tennyson, Head of School at ISL, explains, “Fabulous Fortnight is a unique opportunity for our Middle School students to step outside the usual classroom environment and engage in diverse and dynamic learning experiences. These are not your typical school days; instead, they are designed to incorporate core academic standards into creative and explorative settings. Our ISL Uptown Campus teachers do a tremendous job of providing these opportunities to students.”

In addition to promoting cultural diversity and global awareness, ISL offers French and Spanish language immersion to students from kindergarten through 8th grade. As the only multi-language immersion school chartered by the State of Louisiana, ISL prides itself on being a high-performing institution accessible to all Louisiana residents, with no prior language experience necessary.

This is event is for ISL students and stff only.  The media are invited to attend.
