NEW ORLEANS, LA — The International School of Louisiana (ISL) is celebrating a standout moment in school athletics as both its boys and girls middle school soccer teams won championship titles in the Crescent City Soccer 6v6 Middle School League.
The ISL girls team secured their championship in late April, setting the stage for an exciting finish. The boys team followed with a championship victory of their own, completing a sweep of the league and solidifying ISL’s dominance in this year’s 6v6 middle school division.
“This is an incredible accomplishment for our student-athletes,” said ISL CEO Melanie Tennyson. “To have both teams reach the top reflects not only their talent, but their hard work, teamwork, and commitment throughout the season. We are so proud of how they represented ISL.”
The dual championship highlights the strength of ISL’s athletic program and its commitment to developing well-rounded students through opportunities both in and out of the classroom.
