Morris Jeff Community Schools Announces Posse Scholars
Congratulations to Morris Jeff Community School POSSE Scholars Malani Butler and Jonah Jeansonne! Malani Butler will pursue studies at Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH) where she plans to major in biochemistry and Jonah Jeansonne will major in psychology at Villanova University (PA) in the fall of 2024. Both seniors received a 2024 POSSE Leadership Scholarship valued at over $300,000 and were recognized at a recent awards ceremony.
Malani has decided to pursue her studies next Fall 2024 at Case Western Reserve University where she plans to major in biochemistry and minor in marine biology. Malani loves history and science courses and her career goal is to become a medical doctor. She is a very hard worker, inside and out of the classroom, and is very involved in both the girls volleyball and soccer teams and track and field, all while participating in a highly rigorous academic program, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
Jonah has decided to pursue his studies next Fall 2024 at Villanova University where he plans to major in psychology. Jonah loves math and human science courses. He wants to help people to overcome their obstacles related to mental health, personal growth, and interpersonal relationships. Jonah is very involved in the boys’ swimming team, all while participating in a highly rigorous academic program, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
