Warren Easton Charter High School Silver Heart Ceremony Honors Medical Science Seniors

Ceremony honored medical science seniors working towards certifications for Emergency Medical Technician, Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, and Nursing

Warren Easton Charter High School recently held a Silver Heart Ceremony at the school to honor medical science student seniors that are working towards certifications for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, and Nursing. Sports Medicine students received their “silver” coats and awards for Leadership, Resiliency, Academic Achievement, and more in the “This I Do” Awards.

“This ceremony recognized those students who have been diligently working towards certifications in the medical field,” said Warren Easton CEO Mervin Jackson. “The symbolism of the silver coat adds a meaningful touch to the occasion, representing balance and the delicate equilibrium between medicine and art. It serves as a powerful emblem for the medical science students who are poised at the threshold of their careers, transitioning from civilian life to becoming caregivers for humanity.”

This ceremony not only celebrates academic accomplishments but also acknowledges the holistic journey these students are embarking on as they prepare to contribute to the healthcare field. “Warren Easton Charter High School is dedicated to recognizing and fostering excellence in medical education and the Silver Heart Ceremony exemplifies our commitment to educating our students in these life-changing careers,” said Jackson.
