Young Audiences Charter School Network Presents the Sunset Soirée: A Celebration and Fundraising Event

New Orleans, Louisiana – Young Audiences Charter Association Network/Young Audiences Charter Schools (YACS) will host its first annual Sunset Soirée to benefit our Creative Learners on Thursday, October 26, from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at the pavilion of the Burmaster Middle and High School campus, 1000 Burmaster St. in Gretna.

Tickets are $35 for YACS student and staff families and $75 for YACS community members. The price is inclusive of all food, beverages, and entertainment. Supporting this event brings resources vital to the success of our students!

The event will feature fine fare from YACS’s Culinary Arts department and a selection of wines. Musical entertainment with a Swing flare will be provided by the YACS Jazz Band. The Sunset Soirée will also showcase student-created visual art from across our campuses.

“YACS looks forward to celebrating the Sunset Soirée with families, community members, and other supporters,” said Young Audiences Charter School CEO Rickie Nutik.  “This exciting new event will allow community members and families from all YACS campuses to come together to celebrate its Creative Learners and the unique learning environment created by the Young Audiences Charter School Network.”

Sponsorships and event tickets are available online at Sunset Soirée Tickets or through check payment addressed to Young Audiences Charter Association and mailed to Young Audiences at 3900 General Taylor Street, STE 201, New Orleans, LA 70125. Guests must be 21+ to attend.


Young Audiences Charter Association (YACA) is a non-profit charter organization that oversees the workings of the school. Young Audiences Charter School’s vision is to educate creative learners to be self-aware thinkers, creators, and problem solvers who serve as leaders in their community and have a lifelong love of learning. Its mission is to educate the whole child through arts integration and equip our creative learners to flourish as leaders in life and learning. It does this by providing an innovative academic environment emphasizing a rigorously integrated curriculum with differentiated instruction in and through the arts.
