Young Audiences of Louisiana presents the 1st Annual YALA Fa La La

Celebrate Young Audiences of Louisiana’s 60th Year of Arts in Education

NEW ORLEANS, LA,  – Young Audiences of Louisiana (YALA) will hold the 1st Annual YALA Fa La La festive at the home of Elizabeth and James Williams on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Returning to our roots of hosting a gracious holiday home party, the YALA Fa La La will feature fine fare, libations, music by Julio and Caesar, and a live art auction. Pieces for auction were collaboratively live-painted by talented arts students from Young Audiences Charter School and professional artists during the YALA Art Live event at Urban South Brewery in April.

To add to the fun, every person who purchases a ticket is entered into a raffle with a chance to win one of three gift certificates from Diamonds Direct for some bling right before the holidays! Beyond celebrating our 60th anniversary as a nonprofit committed to arts in education, we invite you to join us in honoring community activist Beverly Matheney for the years of service, commitment, and sparkle she has given to our organization and the New Orleans community.

All proceeds from the event will support Young Audiences’ arts-in-education programs for students and families. Ticket prices start at $125. To purchase tickets or sponsor visit www.ya4la.org/falala.

This year’s event is chaired by community leaders Stella Del BiancoGail Barnes McKenna, and Dr. Tamer Acikalin.

For more information or for corporate sponsorship opportunities please contact Jen Gick, Director of Development, at jeng@ya4la.org or 504.304.5196.
